If you measure wealth not by the things you have, but by the things you enjoy, I have found my pot of gold!
The high I get looking through my camera lens and trying to capturing the moment, is very valuable to me. I can go on a mini vacation just viewing nature or such, via my camera lens. When I actually focus on my shot, and pull the trigger, I mean shutter…. Wow, what a feeling! It is kind of like hitting the bullseye at a firing range.
It doesn’t always work out as I plan, and sometimes, I miss the target. I’ve taken photos of headless birds and such, but the process of taking the photo releases me from “day to day” stresses. This is a good, and a wonderful side effect of photography….It is a real release.
I’ve found my pot of gold in photography, including good, bad and ugly shots…
I hope you have found your pot of gold as well, too. Just a though along the way…Good day…St. Patrick’s Day is coming up and I hope it is a good one for you and yours…Here is another pot of gold for you….a field of golden poppies….
