“Be There” is one of Milton Heiberg’s rules for successful photography. He is right! If you are not there, you will miss the shot for sure! So, if you are wanting to shoot a great sunset or sunrise, a special animal, a pretty flower, or and interesting person, you just have to be there…Sometimes this means getting up early (rise and shine) or traveling for that great location. It might mean hiking a way to the right location, or researching where to find that perfect subject. Whatever the case, you just have to be there, at the right time, with the right equipment and knowhow. Happy shooting!
I took a photo class from Milton in 2010. He is a master photographer and met us at 6:00 am to start our photo shoot. We were at our spot before the birds were up…but what a sunrise, we saw! It was worth every minute of sleep we were missing..
