As I was walking my dog yesterday, I happened to notice a group of lilies that were enjoying a good soaking of sunlight in Mr. McGregor’s Garden. Luckily, I had my macro lens with me and away I went right into the garden with my trusty camera and dog in tow! Tromp, Tromp into his yard mesmerized by the orange glow that was staring me right in the face with brilliance…What a delight to see.
As cars passed me on the road by the lawn, I’m sure that they thought I was a nut case as I bent down to get the perfect angle and shot. Ha! Am sure it was a sight to see. For the moment, I was addicted to the job at hand and did not care what anyone thought. No other thought was in my mind except finding the right angle to see the beauty a little closer. Luckily, Mr. McGregor didn’t come out of his house and I was able to get a nice shot or two of the natural beauty that surrounded me for a few moments.
After I finished shooting my images, I was at peace and went home with a smile on my face. I saw something beautiful and can now share it with you. It was a good day and my dog got a fine walk as well…Peter Rabbit would be proud….
