“Eyes to Eyes” is referring to something seen and captured with a camera, and shared with others. Hopefully, the viewer can see the same thing or have a similar experience just by viewing the image. I think that is why I love flickr and 500px so much. There is always something to see and learn about in this world through other photographers eyes. I feel a connection when looking at photography whether the photo was taken here, there or anywhere.. On occasion, I will see a photo that pulls at my heart, bring back memories, or placates me just viewing it , such as John Hardings’ Cardinal photo called, Winter Icon3, seen at : http://johnhardingphotography.artistwebsites.com/featured/winter-icon-3-john-harding-photography.html
This I know, I love photography and certainly enjoy seeing other photographers work as well. Photography is grand….Keep on clicking…
This explains all the hits I’ve gotten on that shot today and I’ve gotten a ton. So thanks for the high praise. I am humbled. And you are right……I find myself glued to flickr and 500 just scrolling through shots…..and often I’ll find one I just have to sit and look at for a while. It triggers something in my brain…artistic wise or some place I have been, or someone I associate with it for some reason. Photography does that for me. I’ve been into it for more than 35 years and I’m as enthused about now as I was in the 60’s. Maybe even more so.
Beautiful poppy..:-)
