Yesterday, we took a drive to a lake that was near by. When we stopped, I noticed a nest above a box on the outside of a shed. The nest was full of baby robins and Mom was perched on the side of the nest, having just feed the chicks.
I slowly got out of my car and snapped a picture of Momma Robin and then was able to zoom in on one of her chicks. The baby didn’t have it’s eyes open yet. It was so sweet and fragile.
This made me think about how special being a Mother is and how important the job is.
With this in mind, I give thanks to all the Mom’s, and for that matter, and Dad’s out there that care for their young. What an important job you have and do. Thank you!
